Description
Arcadis is seeking an experienced Project Manager II to help manage County capital improvement projects in the General Projects Section.
Candidates are required to have at least 10 years of progressive experience in managing building projects through planning, design, jurisdictional approvals, construction, and close-out.
Job Description:
Independently manage all aspects of a project.
Develop and control project scope.
Develop and maintain project budgets.
Develop and review project schedules.
Review and coordinate the preparation of construction documents.
Facilitate project team and client meetings.
Negotiate and prepare change orders.
Monitor and coordinate construction activities with the various project stakeholders.
Adapt and respond effectively to project issues and challenges.
Set and manage project expectations.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 10 years of project management and concurrent field construction experience.
Experience in the following is desirable:
Design-Build project delivery.
Job Order Contracting (JOC) project delivery.
Knowledge of LEED.
Knowledge of Public Contracting Code and practices.
Medical facility design and construction
