ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Project management and coordination of awarded contracts while working with our distribution network.
Ensure all projects/contracts assigned are managed and coordinated in a timely and through manner
Develop, track, and maintain master project schedule to ensure proper and timely service of approvals, production, shipments, installations and payment schedules.
Attend pre-construction and customer meetings as required. Periodic site visits may be required on all substantial contracts. Participate in field sales calls.
Schedule deliveries, assemble submittal packages, coordinate on-site staffing needs, and determine and coordinate ordering of accessory/buyout items, etc.
Manage and audit costs on projects, (material, freight, installation labor, etc.). Buyout labor must be tracked on a weekly basis.
Read architectural floor plans and drawings to reflect field conditions (rooms) to include mobile system layouts.
Make independent decisions regarding project to ensure proper completion.
Maintain all project management files consistent with established department requirements and documentation requirements.
Coordinate submittal of close out/punch list submittal package to assure timely completion and project payment.
Work with project partner for coordination of change orders, re-costing requirements or any changes or certifications required.
Maintain contact with installation personnel and customers during installation to assure project progress.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelorâs/Associates degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field or a minimum of 2 years of project management
Proficient in Microsoft office applications, IFS, working with architectural floor plans/drawings, technical specifications, contract interpretation, mechanical concepts, and basic understanding of construction and construction methods
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Strong decision making skills
Ability to work effectively independently in a team environment
