Project Manager
The Project Manager will deliver successful performance improvement projects for assigned operations; increasing service, reliability and experience, while optimizing costs and working to eliminate defects. The Manager will be a tactically focused leader, working with diverse teams across business unit(s) and engaging with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Partner with business and functional leaders to understand the opportunities for innovation and improvement that will drive the best ROI, focusing on operational efficiencies, direct costs savings and guest experience
- Lead and execute deliverables across a portfolio of projects, managing the progress of each project, removing roadblocks and keeping projects on track to ensure seamless implementation
- Work with teams to analyze results and verify sustained impact
- Actively maintain relationships with regional and corporate business leaders to deliver positive experience for impacted guests and team members
- Demonstrate a positive leadership attitude, remaining positive and motivational during periods of uncertainty
- Have authentic and honest communication and interpersonal skills
- Build and maintain trust by showing good judgement through a strong sense of discretion and confidentiality
- Take a collaborative and creative approach to problem solving
- Be adaptable and respectful of differences in working across a variety of cultures
- Show an expertise in facilitating, coaching and training others in process improvement methodologies throughout the organization
Position Requirements:
- Bachelorâs degree required; Graduate degree/MBA preferred
- Lean Six Sigma certification/experience preferred
- At least 2 years experience
- Strong project and change management skills
- Experience leading complex process improvement projects involving multiple business unit(s)/departments
- An intermediate to advance user of MS Project and Excel
- Must adapt to rapidly changing priorities and able to shift focus
