Overview

This Assistant Vice President / Operations Lead will be responsible of co-managing the collateral review process within Document Custody Operations. The Document Custody Operations team (450+ staff over multiple shifts) processes over 45,000 document related transactions daily. This includes new loan reviews, trailing document reviews, file shipping, imaging and other document related processes for over 100 clients. This position oversees the morning/afternoon, and or evening teams from approximately with very tight operational turn times. This Operation supports a rapidly growing Trust & Agency Services business and requires an understanding of time sensitive supply chain operations due to the various intraday deadlines that are critical to the secondary market of funding mortgage loans.

Your Role

What You’ll Do:

• Serve as the Operations Lead in Santa Ana partnering and collaborating with TAS Operations in growing a successful Document Custody business
• Coordinate and manage daily production
• Manage staff across different schedules from approximately 6:00 am to 10:00 pm
• Work directly with staff to complete various product types
• Monitor and manage various intraday volumes with a necessity for hourly status assessments
• Work with assigned team to create and develop improved data reporting for management updates

Skills You’ll Need:

• Work experience in an Operational environment
• Ability to train team members in providing exceptional levels of service
• Advanced computer, writing and data management skills
• Strong communication and presentation skills both oral and written
• Ability to manage and prioritize numerous tasks concurrently

Skills That Will Help You Excel:

• Bachelor’s degree (Finance or Business preferred)
• Be a strong leader/manager with experience managing large, diverse operational teams
• An excellent, confident communicator both internally and with clients (written, verbal and in person)
• Able to operate calmly and efficiently in a high volume, intense atmosphere that maintains a very low margin of error
