Position Overview
GrowthZone, the industry-leading developer of membership management software like ChamberMaster and MemberZone and GrowthZone, is looking for a Project Manager to join our growing Onboarding team. To meet the needs of our 2,000+ active customers, we are seeking a tech-savvy individual who will love helping others learn and use our software.
The project manager will provide quality, personalized onboarding project support on a daily basis. The primary function is managing the implementation of the project as prescribed through the sales process, prior to their transition to the support team. Onboarding includes assisting customers with their database set-up, data conversion, website integration, training, and most importantly creating and maintaining the excellent relationships that are the foundation of our success. The Onboarding department is the face of the company and works with new customers using our platform, which requires our enthusiastic project managers to be exceptional communicators.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Implement customer projects using the documented Onboarding process to safeguard customer success. Maintain documented processes and update as required.
- Provide system consultations for customers including education on existing product or service offerings, introduction of new products/services, and notification of upgrades or add-on product availability.
- Provide data consultations for customers to best determine how their data will be converted into the GrowthZone platform for use and reporting purposes. This may include analyzing, discussing and recommending data best practices with customer and interpreting the customer’s expectations for the data team to implementation.
- Responsible for proactive project implementation. Ensure project items are tracked and completed based on customer expectations.
- Evolve customer onboarding experience to support corporate goals and objectives.
- Build relationships with and advocate for customers.
- Provide customer feedback to product management.
Required Skills
- Bachelor degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Excellent technical aptitude and software experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate clearly.
- Project management experience.
- Ability to work with data â discuss, analyze, recommend – with an eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently and proactively, stay organized, flexible with customers and process and be diligent on follow-ups.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations.
- Motivation to provide immediate interaction with customer by acknowledging and assuring them their issue will be handled properly.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of software solutions and knowledge of web-based products, databases, and spreadsheets (product-specific training provided).
