Responsibilities
NCI: The On-Site Manager supervises and coordinates all Contractor activities and ensures that the task is performed to the best possible efficiency. In assuming this position, you will be a critical contributor to meeting NCI’s mission: To deliver innovative, cost-effective solutions and services that enable our customers to rapidly adapt to dynamic environments.
Highlights of Responsibilities:
- Meets and works daily with the Government and customer counterparts to elaborate on system requirements and resolve issues
- Ensures appropriate levels of communications are established and maintained throughout the survey coordination and install efforts.
- Responsible for all aspects of project performance
- Oversees all aspects of site survey/install, leading a team on large projects or a significant segment of large and complex projects
- Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project
- Prepares reports for upper management regarding status of project
- Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department
- Leads and directs the work of others
- Organizes and assigns responsibilities to subordinates and oversees the successful completion of all assigned tasks
- Manages and supervises personnel involved in all aspects of project activity
- Performs other related duties as assigned
- Responsible for the administrative/operational leadership of a project within the program guidelines set by the Program Manager and customer
- Ensure that all daily reports, spreadsheets, and required documentation are provided to the on-site ISEC PE and the Technical Monitor in accordance with the PWS and contract CDRL.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Bachelorâs Degree or equivalent related experience
- 8 â 12 Years experience with Project management, IT management and personnel communications
- Experienced in coordinating large scale hardware and structured cabling deployments
- Knowledgeable in managing deployment schedules
- Skilled in coordinating with external stakeholders, data collection and organizations
- Experienced in managing all assigned site design, engineering and technical deployment considerations
- Experienced in managing on-site daily activities and site deliverables
- Familiar with DISA LAN/WLAN STIGs, DISA LAN Cert process, and DHA Installation Standards
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification strongly desired
Physical Requirements:
