The Market Director–Banking Trainee is responsible for completing the Market Director–Banking Training Program and learning the business activities of a Market Director–Banking. The Market Director-Banking Trainee will be evaluated in the following areas:
- People: Assist in recruitment, development and retention of Bankers
- Growth: Focus on building Branch Manager and Banker skills necessary for deposit and investment balance growth (e.g. Support Market Directors in the delivery of the Banker Development Training program)
- Access: Partner with Branch Operating Model Leads, Market Directors–Banking and Wealth Management to support Innovation/Retrofit launch execution and continued performance monitoring of impacted branches
- Customers: Develop and ensure OSAT (customer and overall satisfaction) strategies are in place; monitor implementation and ongoing performance with Market Director-Banking
- Controls: Conduct joint visits to heightened branches with Field Resolution Specialist; Partner with regional support teams on various controls activities (e.g. Internal Controls Self Check, Collateral Champions)
- Actively lead or partner on Region specific initiatives
Upon placement, the Market Director – Banking is responsible for overseeing the business activities and financial results in a designated geographical consumer market made up of approximately 20 branches.

- Manage and coach branch managers to engage customers
o Coach branch managers on best practice techniques for coaching, reviewing business, and ensuring compliance

o Partner with other market leaders (e.g., Market Director –Wealth) to ensure the growth of other lines of business, including investments and loans
