Summary:
MDMVIP is actively seeking an IT Project Manager to join our Information Technology team at our Corporate Office located in Boca Raton, FL! The IT Project Manager works with the different departments at MDVIP to assess their needs and implement IT solutions that support organizational business goals. As the key liaison between business users and technical teams, the IT Project Manager oversees the planning and execution of projects adhering to project management best practices. The IT Project Manager also functions in a Business Analyst role when needed and gathers business requirements that are implemented by vendors and technical teams. This position will mostly support IT infrastructure projects, for example: company-wide rollout of cloud solution like Microsoft Azure and Office 365, Information Security, or testing a BCP and DR environment.

- Identifies key stakeholders, addresses their needs and concerns, assists in designing the organizational change management strategy for the program/project;
- Provides project management oversight throughout the project lifecycle, coordinating and directing activities of project team members.
- Leads vendor evaluations and negotiations for products and services required for the program/projects.
- Develops scope, schedule, budget and resource requirements.
- Identifies and manages project dependencies, critical path, resolving issues and escalation.
- Uses technical skills and background to collaborate and provide guidance to infrastructure and technical experts to deliver solutions that meet the highest business and technical standards.
- Performs project management and/or business analyst function depending on project size and assignment.
- Manages the contractual relationship with providers ensuring deliverables meet expectations in terms of scope, quality, schedule, cost, and technical best practices.
- Monitors project progress by tracking activity; resolving problems; communicating progress reports; recommending and implementing actions.
- Perform operations or support responsibilities as needed including release management and/or application support related to projects and systems in their purview.
- Maintains system protocols by writing and updating operating procedures.

Education/Experience/Knowledge:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science or equivalent with at least 5 yearsâ experience managing SDLC projects in accordance with industry standards
- Demonstrated ability to provide guidance and direction in tasks of a technical nature with proven track record of success.
- Basic knowledge and concepts in SAAS applications (Azure, Office 365 etc.) and Operating systems preferred.
- Project Management (PMP) certification and or equivalent and ITIL is preferred.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Strong leadership and communication skills (clear and concise), strong business acumen combined with solid analytical/problem solving skills.
- Experience in successfully applying organizational change management methodologies.
- Ample experience in both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
- Sufficient technical skills to monitor and challenge the deliverables of technical teams.
- Demonstrated experience in contracting and managing external vendors and technical teams (including offshore resources).
- Ability to work independently and multi-task / managing multiple projects (or components) simultaneously, comfortable with fast pace and ambiguity.
Travel Requirements:
- 2-3 time annually, approximately 5 days per trip and occasionally requires driving.
