Position Title: IT and Application Manager

Reports to: Vice President of Finance

Status: Full-Time, Exempt

Location: Farmington, UT

SUMMARY OF POSITION: The focus of the IT and Application Manager is to oversee all Information Technology components of Providence Group. Providence Group is a premier provider of post-acute healthcare services, including skilled nursing, assisted living, post-acute medical and rehabilitation, home health, and hospice, with facilities all throughout the country. They will interface with our third-party IT provider to ensure business goals are being met in the most cost effective and efficient way possible. The Technology Executive is responsible for providing technology vision and leadership by working with internal staff and IT vendors to develop and implement IT initiatives.

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Oversees the implementation of software applications in a company’s computer and network systems.
  • Responsible overseeing operations of our outside IT company. Providence Group uses an outside IT firm to service all facilities throughout the country. This person will be the main point of contact between our IT vendor and Providence Group executives.
  • They must be able to do analysis to create applications that respond to customer needs and provide innovative solutions to common problems. They also perform prototyping, application tests and code reviews to ensure product is satisfactory.
  • Perform improvement and re-designing tasks. Work with our facilities nationwide to ensure customer service needs are being met.
  • Provide coordination of the information and technology system for new acquisitions. This includes evaluating hardware, network systems and telecom.
  • Oversees continuous delivery and operation of integrated client information systems
  • Responsible for the delivery of multiple information technology systems projects including voice, data, and automation
  • Coordinates, facilitates, and consults with all client employees on information systems, communication, and software system initiatives
  • Ensure that the company is current with information system standards and other regulatory entities such as HIPPA
  • Participates in proposed information systems including information security
  • Manages and tracks internal and external goals, objectives, and savings/value with input from client and staff
  • Evaluates problems and discusses and develops solutions.
  • Responsible for continuous assessment and improvement of the quality and services provided.
  • Prepares memos, letters, and reports as required by the Executive team.
  • Attends meetings as required

Preferred Competencies and Technical Skills

  • Application and development experience
  • SQL and Database experience
  • Knowledge of integrated information and communications systems
  • Knowledge of HIPPA compliance

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management or a related field
  • A minimum of 2 years’ work experience in a related field
  • Or a combination of experience and equivalent education in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree
  • Proven success in a customer facing or customer success related role
  • Previous project management experience including technology implementations is preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $100,000.00 to $135,000.00 /year
