ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide guidance and direction to Site Management Team to drive business performance through contemporary human resource processes and labor relations practices.
- Lead ongoing HR initiatives supporting recruiting, training, employee relations and performance management.
- Guide and cultivate innovation and change in traditional HR programs and processes in anticipation of business initiatives.
- Conduct analysis of wages and benefits against area and industry employers.
- Develop and implement training programs.
- Conduct hiring and termination actions.
- Advise managers on matters of employment law, policy and disciplinary actions.
- Advise employees on matters of policy and benefits.
- Calculate and summarize wage actions.
- Develop company policy relative to employment, benefits, training programs and appraisal systems.
- Monitor and maintain security system.
- Oversee the activities of the Human Resources Coordinator and Reception functions.
- Positively manage employee relations activities.
- Drive continuous improvement in overall HR processes.
- Provide counsel and support to HR professionals at other manufacturing locations.
- Lead intern and new graduate staffing program.
- Drive the annual salaried employee Performance Development Program.
- Coach, develop and evaluate staff.
- Advise Site Management Team on labor relations, employment law, policy administration and disciplinary actions.
- Training implementation.
