Under limited supervision, plans, administers, coordinates and directs comprehensive occupational therapy services. Develops and administers departmental policies and procedures which support the efficient and effective operation of the department across both the UMMC Midtown and Downtown Campuses in accordance with organizational goals and objectives. Reports to the Vice President of Patient Care Service with oversight of inpatient behavioral health programs.
What You Need to Be Successful:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Occupational Therapy is required. Licensure in Occupational Therapy from the Maryland State Board of Examiners is required.
- Five years of progressively responsible professional experience as an Occupational Therapist is required. In addition, three years of administrative, supervisory or management experience in occupational therapy is required.
