This role will be dedicated to crafting the strategic direction of the recruiting department in order to meet staffing goals, lead existing staff and continue to attract top talent to our team. The Director of Recruiting leads the business’s recruiting efforts and manages those within the recruiting department. Working with various sales VP’s, the Director of Recruiting is accountable for results that determine the strategic direction and objectives of the recruiting department. Including but not limited to; identifying effective and sustainable candidate sourcing, applicant tracking, interviewing, hiring, performance reporting metrics, process improvements, marketing strategies and implementing technology efficiencies. All of which support the business’s growth.
In this leadership position, the Director of Recruiting leads, develops, and manages a high-performing team that is responsible for achieving specific performance metrics related to talent acquisition and is an active participant in promoting our internal culture with team members and potential candidates.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provides day-to-day leadership to both onsite and remote recruiters who are responsible for recruiting employees within our five (5) branches, including strategies, activities and outcomes.
- Leads the professional development of all team members to enhance their skill set.
- Is accountable for achieving weekly and monthly key performance indicators around staffing metrics across all branches.
- Develops and implements initiatives to drive recruiting effectiveness and efficiencies to ensure the hiring and retention of the best candidates.
- Researches and identifies new recruiting sources for active and passive candidate recruiting
- Work closely with sales Vice Presidents to understand current and future staffing needs necessary to grow their business units.
- Work closely with Engagement team to facilitate a quality experience for candidates that highlights our business and culture as they apply, interview and are on-boarded into our environment.
- Utilize current technology platforms (Ultipro) as the primary ATS and onboarding tool and make recommendations regarding enhancements.
- Lead exploration of new recruiting tools and make recommendations that maximize performance as necessary.
- Trains outside business leaders on effective recruiting sources and strategies.
- Assists with Website design to improve company website career pages.
- Assists staff in coordinating college recruiting initiatives including developing working relationships with college placement offices.
- Assists staff in attending job fairs and recruiting events to increase qualified candidate pool.
- May attend weekly Business Review meetings with Executive Leadership team members to ensure all staffing needs are met.
- Assists in Special Projects as assigned.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing additional tasks as needed.
- Works a flexible schedule to complete all job tasks within established timeframes.
- Protects company office equipment as well as all customer non-public personal information (NPPI) inside the office and when working in a remote setting.

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skill, and/or ability required.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelors degree required.
- 5+ years’ of people management as a direct Manager or Director role (in a recruiting environment preferred).
- Proven ability to coach, mentor and consult with a variety of employees.
- 5+ experience in full cycle recruiting for a sales environment.
- Must possess change management capabilities and the proven ability to achieve high quality results.
- Experience working alongside members of an executive team to accomplish business goals.
- Has worked with and has a strong knowledge of technology platforms available to improve and report on a full cycle recruiting process (experience with Ultipro preferred).
- Has used and has success with a variety of social media platforms to enhance recruiting efforts.
- Has experience and moderate understanding of employment laws and procedures.
- Superior knowledge of Microsoft Office products as well as other current technology platforms.

Working Conditions & Physical Demands:
- Some travel required.
- Prolonged periods of sitting and utilizing office equipment and computers
- Periodic lifting of no more than 5 pounds to ensure paper supply in office equipment is replenished
- Prolonged periods of intense concentration and attention to detail
- Frequent disruptions to concentration due to an open work space concept
