Director of Farm Operations

Position Summary

-Help lead Tabula Rasa Farms in meeting the objectives of both financial and environmental sustainability by managing farm operations, rental properties, educational programs, and construction/project management

–Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

1-FARM OPERATIONS

• *-developing and implementing budget for ops

-water systems operation, monitoring and maintenance

-management and recruitment of farm and store staff

-pasture programs, rotational grazing schedule

-equipment maintenance and usage

2-RENTAL PROPERTIES, EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS

-manage and participate in the greeting of visitors/tourists/tenants

-assist in the development of agricultural and other educational programs

-assist in the development of agritourism experiences appropriate to the farm’s mission

3-CONSTRUCTION/PROJECT MANAGEMENT

-Project managing all construction activities, including but not limited to farm capital projects (including water retention & soil health), building construction/maintenance, equipment maintenance, the Relationship& Dialogue Center

–Qualifications

-10 years managing people

-2 years sales and/or marketing

-3 budget development and budget management

-a passion for the relationship between the planet, animals and people

-2 years of farm experience or a sincere desire to learn

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $60,000.00 to $65,000.00 /year
