The Richland Hospital, Inc currently is seeking an innovative and dynamic, high energy professional to lead our Community Relations and Marketing Department. The Director of Community Relations and Marketing is responsible for the direction and leadership of operational, financial, programmatic and personnel activities for Marketing Communications. This includes developing and implementing institutional marketing communication strategies and comprehensive support plans to realize the organizations strategic business goals. The Director will be responsible for outlining the communications plan and infrastructure needed to support achieving the The Richland Hospital Strategic Plan.

The Director of Community Relations and Marketing is responsible for representing The Richland Hospital in the community through networking, marketing, presentations and committees. This includes developing deep qualitative and quantitative insights about the needs and wants of the community. This position will develop strategy to build relationships to further The Richland Hospital position among Rural Wisconsin Healthcare.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS/LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATION

• Four-year degree from a baccalaureate program in Marketing, Communication or Public Relations
• Two or more years of media experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Critical Access Hospitals preferred.

The Director of Community Relations and Marketing works cooperatively and collaboratively with all members of the healthcare team. Demonstrates a positive public image towards patients, visitors, and fellow employees through courteous, respectful and cooperative behavior. Effectively and consistently communicates to CEO and participates in interactive Executive Team Management Meetings and Direct Report meetings and discussions.
