Position: Deployment Manager
DIGITALSPEC is seeking a motivated Deployment Manager to join our team.
Location: Tysons Corner, VA
Education: Master’s Degree in technology (preferred), business management, or business administration. 5+ years of deployment management experience preferred.
Clearance: U.S. Citizens Only who have resided in the US for the past 5 years. Must be able to obtain a CBP BI.
Job Tasks: Work with a team of physicists and data scientists to field deploy technical solutions for supporting homeland security operations. Interface with outside agencies to coordinate contracting, installation, testing, and quality assurance. Maintain all project plans and ensure that project milestones/goals are met.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate with external government and contractual groups through all steps of project deployment, including hardware, software, and network infrastructure. Experience in developing tools and metrics for post-deployment monitoring
- Prior management of a multidisciplinary team of scientists, programmers, and IT professionals in a dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in understanding communication on both a technical and managerial level, and with translating between the two.
- Experience with common database structures (MS SQL preferred), including processes to validate new and existing data structures and completeness of incoming data. Experience operating in a cloud-based infrastructure a plus.
