We are currently looking for an on-site Data Management Project Manager for a large federal government project based in Washington, D.C. to support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) program.


Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and facilitate data management and migration efforts across multiple organizations.
  • Create reports and brief senior leaders on the status of data management strategy/planning and data migration. Coordinate with staff from multiple organizations to support related tasks and provide information back to appropriate project managers.
  • Ability to identify technical risk and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Lead and facilitate meetings with appropriate task/project members and document after action items and follow up on tasks with due dates.


Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience is required. An additional 8 years of relevant experience may be substituted for degree requirements.
  • Experience managing Information Technology related projects, experience with life cycle and project management methodologies.
  • Experience in tracking costs, schedule and performance progress.
  • Strong ability to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business or related scientific /technical discipline is required.
