The Corporate Account Manager role is a key member of our Distributor Management team and will assist and advise in the development of the strategies and plans to be the category leader for foodservice distribution. This position requires both foodservice distributor sales and relationship management at the corporate level as well as the ability to work cross functionally (e.g Sales, MarComms, Finance, Supply Chain, etc.) This role will report to the Director of Distributor Management in our US Sales organization.

You Will

  • Assist in the ongoing development of distributor strategy for assigned distributors – master document to be delivered in early November of each calendar year, with updates made quarterly
  • Evaluate assigned distributors against KPI’s and metrics and report on distributor progress (including wins, gaps, and non-performance) weekly
  • Deliver on assigned distributor trade spend strategy, distributor trade spend ROI, and distributor trade marketing activities (such as shows, trainings, cuttings), recommend adjustments to trade spend programs to Director of Distributor Management
  • Oversee all day-to-day activities with assigned distributors (including, but not limited to: payment disputes, out-of-stocks, new vendor set-up forms)
  • Liaise between Impossible and assigned distributor account HQ’s; advise and support team on properly managing distributor and regional HQ relationships
  • Be comfortable with “outside the box” ideas that capitalize on business opportunities
  • Provide updates to assigned distributor contact details and identify distributor leads at each assigned HQ/regional/local offices in SFDC
  • Effectively manage administrative responsibilities which include information requests, competitive intelligence, results tracking and analysis, expense reports and deduction management, etc.
  • Oversee training and development (involving additional IF resources as needed) for assigned strategic distributor offices on a regular basis
  • Complete QBR’s with all assigned strategic distributors

You Have

  • A minimum of 5 years of foodservice distributor headquarter relationship management and sales experience for a foodservice manufacturer or related experience
  • A genuine interest and passion for Impossible Food’s mission
  • The ability to think creatively and critically, can quickly learn new concepts and seeks to resolve complex problems
  • The ability to be a structured and organized thinker who can drive projects to completion with minimal direction; attention to detail and ability to deep-dive when necessary

  • Highly collaborative approach with ability to collaborate with all types of functions (R&D, MarComms, Finance, Strategy, Operations, etc.)
  • Ability to travel more than 60% of the time
