The Cheyenne Mountain Zoo is seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Project Manager.
This position will be responsible to act as the owner’s representative on capital projects working with the Zoo’s executive team, staff, consultants and contractors to ensure project scope, schedule and budget success.
This position will also concurrently manage infrastructure projects working with general contractors and subcontractors. This is a physically demanding position that will be conducted in all weather conditions and flexibility in the work schedule will be necessary to meet with and support contractor activities.
The ideal candidate will have experience developing RFPs, vetting contractors, developing and negotiating contracts, reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications, and will have proven scope, schedule and budget management experience. Adaptability, exceptional customer service and people skills, maturity, good judgement and strong communication skills are also required.
Candidates must have a valid Colorado driverâs license, be insurable as a driver in the state of Colorado, and must have reliable transportation.
