Reporting to the executive director (ED), the Business Manager will define the process and implement the infrastructure/systems needed to support substantial growth over the next five to 10 years. She or he will continue to build and manage effective and streamlined administrative/financial systems, including financial, accounting, legal, information technology (IT), human resources (HR), and physical infrastructure.
As a member of the senior management team, the director will be involved in strategic planning, evaluation, and professional development initiatives, as well as planning for ARTSâs expansion to multiple service transportation offerings both locally and throughout the County. In keeping with ARTSâs values, the Manager will also interact with program recipients as a mentor.
The successful candidate will be a hands-on and participative manager and will lead and develop an internal team to support the following areas: finance, business planning and budgeting, human resources, administration, and IT.
Initially the Business Manager will maintain positive donor relations through maintenance of donor information, tracking and recognition. This position will also work directly with the Executive Director on human resources processes and policy writing.
