Full Job Description
Create Homes is looking for an enthusiastic team member to become a part of our growing company. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5+ years of experience in residential home building and a strong desire to grow. Requires excellent communication skills with a focus on outstanding Customer Service.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Plan and direct all construction activities across multiple locations and projects
- Schedule all involved subcontractors for each phase of development and construction
- Ensure timely material deliveries to prevent delays in schedule
- Maintain a safe work site by implementing company safety requirements and good housekeeping, enforcing safe work practices and observing OSHA requirements
- Coordinate all job site inspections
- Maintain compliance with all applicable building codes
- Approve work being performed by subcontractors and resolve any related issues
- Recognize and maintain quality standards through daily inspection of homes
- Maintain Subdivision BMPâs (Best Management Practices) on a daily basis
- Build and maintain good rapport with subcontractors, homeowners, city officials and inspectors
- Oversee and maintain the highest quality customer service
- Conduct homeowner orientation and any re-walks ensuring homeowner satisfaction
- Schedule and manage subcontractors to make designated warranty repairs
- Manage Customer satisfaction from Purchase through Closing and Warranty
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelorâs degree in construction-related field/equivalent experience preferred
- 5+ years of practical home building experience
- Proficiency with MS Office and email
- Ability to utilize Create Homes applications on a smartphone, tablet, or laptop
- Manage time effectively, multi-task & prioritize in order to meet established goals & deadlines.
- Knowledge of construction Best Practices and Terminology. Ability to read and understand construction documents, drawings and blueprints.
- Knowledgeable in all applicable building codes, OSHA requirements, and other legal restrictions.
- Flexibility and willingness to perform other duties
Preferred Certifications:
- Level 1-A Soil and Erosion certificate (Blue Card)
- First Aid and CPR certification
- OSHA 10-hour certification
