Area Director

United Energy Workers Healthcare is looking for an Area Director for our Washington and Idaho offices. The Area Director will oversee and manage the Agency offices by enforcing policies, procedures, and practices set forth by the Agency to ensure Agency standards and goals are met. The Area Director ensures communication is facilitated between the local office and the corporate office and will assist the General Manager with various tasks, as needed. The Area Director will communicate as necessary with the General Manager and Executive Team in order to develop and implement new plans/ideas that will enhance the operations of the company and ensure that the Agency is fully equipped and operational and give feedback on the Region to the General Manager, Executive Team and the corporate office on a regular basis.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all employees in assigned region
• Maximize staffed versus authorized service hours
• Insure staffed hours do not exceed authorizations
• Insure timely completion of recertifications
• Manage RN case managers to insure timely submission of documentation
• Manage contractors to insure timely and accurate submission of documentation
• Hire staff
• Handle employee disciplinary action in coordination with Human Resources
• Be a resource for management, case managers, and office staff, provide direction and guidance

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of proven work experience in the home health care industry in a management or administrative position
• Strong management principles
• Good organization and time management skills to manage multiple employees
• Good working knowledge of computer and internet-based applications along with other office machines as necessary to complete job
• Problem solving and ability to multi-task
• Must pass criminal background check and drug screening
• Must maintain availability to assist staff when needed
• Professional appearance mandatory

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $70,000.00 to $80,000.00 /year
