About Us:

SubUAS LLC started in 2016 consolidating the capabilities of UV’s into the first Unmanned Aerial and Underwater Vehicle: the Naviator. It seamlessly transits between water and air. Working with us means working with a team of talented mechanical/software engineers, makers and entrepreneurs, whom design, develop and field test incredibly innovative unmanned projects that require air, surface, and subsurface access. Job Summary:

We currently are seeking to fill a senior full-time position for a Vice President of Drone Research with experience bringing drone-like products to market, with a focus comfortable with constructively challenging consensus, overcoming problems, seeing projects out to completion, and developing cost-effective solutions.

Vice President of Drone Research Responsibilities include:

  • Technical Management of Research
  • Hands-On Drone Testing
  • Building
  • Programming
  • Proposal writing

Vice President of Drone Research Requirements:

  • MS/Ph.D. in Engineering or computer science is desired. But a candidate with BS and sufficient experience and achievements will also be considered.
  • Minimum experience of 5+ years of related experience.
  • Experience bringing novel technical products to the market. This could include but it is not limited to directing the design, testing, and manufacturing of drones.
  • Testing, programming, and hands-on experience is critical in regards to UAV / UAS.
  • Candidates’ technical skills should be in programming in one of the following areas: vehicle autonomy, swarming, flight control operation and vehicle sub-components specially ESC and COMMs.
