Vice President with Goldman Sachs Bank USA in Richardson, TX.

Work Schedule: 40 hours per week (9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.)

Duties: Vice President with Goldman Sachs Bank USA in Richardson, TX. Multiple roles available. Responsible for the analytical data layer for Goldman Sachs’ Consumer line of business (Marcus). As the chief architect and database administrator, the Vice President will: Build data pipelines that allow the business to better understand their customer and PnL. Monitor the database to ensure that it is operated within firm’s governance policy. Build metrics from the database and perform ad hoc analytics. Work with business partners to understand how data must be structured to drive business value (increased revenue, higher customer satisfaction).

Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Electrical or Electronic Engineering or a related technical field. Six (6) years of experience in the job offered or related database architect and administration position. Prior work experience must include at least six (6) years with: Building logical and physical data models using AquaStudio; and Consulting and coordinating with stakeholders on the right data to use to solve complex business problems. Prior work experience must include at least two (2) years with: Developing data pipelines and metrics using PySpark and SQL; Ability to develop ingestion frameworks using databricks / AWS; Developing and monitoring data governance policies and rules, based on both internal audit requirements, as well as external government regulations; and Building data quality rules using Python on AWS. Prior work experience must also include experience with performing ad hoc analytics using SQL and Snowflake on distributed systems. Travel required (10% of the time).
