We are looking for an experienced UI/UX Designer and Creative Director (Hubspot COS experience preferred) to help our nonprofit and mission-driven clients excel in their marketplace. We will look to your expertise to help with planning and developing the creative direction of our own brand and that of our clients.

In a design capacity, we are looking for someone who can create digital assets, website graphics, and print designs. From concept through delivery, this resource will improve user experience (UX) by bringing our client’s brand to life and keeping it consistent across all marketing channels.

You will be responsible for handling a portfolio of your own accounts, while also working with a cross-functional team of marketers, copywriters, designers & developers and executives to bring these campaigns to life. We’ll also look to you to help drive new business and increase our wallet-share with current clients.

Responsibilities include:

  • Collaborate with teammates and clients to support website design and content marketing
  • Design landing pages, marketing emails, blogs, and further digital collateral
  • Develop imagery for Social Media including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIN, Instagram
  • Develop digital ads and help with short copy
  • Manage other design needs such as presentations, signage, and print materials for Tapp and our clients.
  • Enhance user experience across the digital landscape for Tapp and our clients
  • Enhance conversion rates – CRO experience is a plus!
  • Interface with clients and prospects to deliver our creative approach and articulate the process which we undertake to get to our end goal.

What we are looking for in a candidate:

  • Ability to wear a lot of hats and work efficiently
  • Have a proven ability to communicate effectively via phone and email
  • Understand the concepts of Inbound marketing and User Experience
  • The ability to manage expectations and advise on best practices
  • Ability to handle multiple client accounts at the same time – Agency experience is a plus
  • Strong design capabilities – portfolio of work will be requested
  • Familiarity with HubSpot is a plus
  • Ability to work as a team and prioritize project tasks within a team as well as individually.

In this job you will be responsible for:

Strategizing, implementing and managing multi-channel design and creative concepts for Tapp’s key clients and strategic partners. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Develop a timeline around each project within a client program
  • Understand the strategic vision of the client and provide direction for resources
  • Act as or partner with account teams to set up best practices/process based upon client need
  • Maintain campaign plans in order to facilitate easy reporting on program and campaign effectiveness
  • Assign and manage resources within the scope of the project
  • Ensure that projects are on time and on budget
  • Interact with account resources on client deliverables
  • Identify efficiency opportunities within the projects
  • Interact with clients on status calls in partnership with account resources
  • Lead internal resource kickoffs with account teams
  • Lead post mortem discussions once a program is completed
  • Provide feedback to the internal team based upon skill strengths (content, creative, strategy) and contribute to the end goal/deliverable
  • Provide a weekly status on client deliverables to the team
  • Collaborating to build a strong team of independently driven and motivated employees and contractors
  • Create or enhance processes for scalability
  • Documentation of custom processes
  • Training and onboarding of resources and teams- Play a mentorship role
  • Guide key employees in the execution of their duties when necessary
  • Ensure constant honing of your own and your team’s skills
  • Heavily focused on the delivery of quality work and a thorough QA process for internal and client deliverables
  • Create clear, easy-to-understand phrasing to communicate for internal and external needs
  • Utilizing clear verbal and written communications both in-person and through project tools to keep clients and internal project stakeholders well informed
  • Ongoing contribution to Tapp events
  • Be an internal and external face of Tapp Network and a team player and leader
