We have an opportunity for Senior-Level Management Consultants/Project Managers to join our talented Professional Services team. The successful candidate will provide project management advisory, coordination, and support for a financial management support (FMS) program management office (PMO) and experience in Organizational Design and Organizational Change Management.
Typical responsibilities include:
- Oversee all PWS requirement delivery to ensure quality, performance, and deliverable acceptance.
- Manage PMO staff tasking and activities. Serve as the primary POC for all PMO activities
- Lead Financial Management Projects that involves (Financial policies, reporting, analysis, audit support)
- Ensure the project and project team optimizes the adoption of PMI, Agile, ISO, and CMMI best practices across the program.
- Provide functional and technical expertise advisory and support across the program and provide analysis and recommendations for improvement.
- Oversee the development and quality maintenance of the PMP.
- Led the development, assessment, and recommendation of program strategies, business functions, IT capabilities, and mitigation of program risks
- Lead the collection, analysis, validation, and documentation of PMO requirements.
- Establish and maintain the program risk management and provide risk management activity support
- Provide program communication plan support and maintain the project knowledge documents
- Analyze feasibility of and develop functional requirements for system enhancements and update business use cases
- Provide audit and policy research and analysis support
- Manage project financials and engagement performance.
- Prepare materials and facilitate monthly status reports and briefs.
- Prepare and conduct weekly status meetings.
Required Skills
- Bachelorâs degree in management, marketing, business, accounting, finance, project management, or related-field
- Minimum of 8+ years of direct experience in project management
- Minimum of 5+ years of direct experience working in a technical program management office (PMO) environment
- Financial Management engagements that involves (financial policies, reporting, analysis, audit support)
- Experience working at a Big 4 is plus
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, and ability to interact effectively with a variety of contacts/relationships, including senior-level managers and technical SMEs
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with Microsoft Project
- Excellent presentation & communication skills in both oral and written form
- Very strong and demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- PMP Certified
- Experience working in the Federal Government
Clearance Requirement
- Must possess or be able to obtain a Secret Clearance
