The Project Manager will oversee the final design, specifications, procurement and installation of the furniture, fixtures and equipment (FF&E) for the pre-opening of Amrit Luxury Resort. This role will be responsible for scheduling, coordination, procurement assistance and management of owner supplied equipment/material and FF&E and cost control.
Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Responsibilities
- Complete final review of all FF&E for pre-opening
- Attend internal and external deployment meetings with other managers and team members to review the status of the job and implement changes as necessary to ensure timely project completion
- Ensure that the job is maintained in a project tracking system with complete accuracy
- Ensuring that the highest standards of health and safety are considered as a priority through all stages of the project
- Update team and stakeholders on the project progress
- Direct the diagnosis of work flow problems, critical paths and institute remedies
- Reviewing and reporting FF&E project status with regards to the project management team and recommend corrective action when necessary
Requirements
- Bachelorâs degree or 3-5 years Project Management work experience
- Preferred: An advanced degree in design, architecture or project management
- Proven experience managing FF&E projects pre-opening a plus
- Luxury hotel/hospitality project experience
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the US
- Strong FF&E and OS&E experience
- Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills
- Microsoft: Project Management, Word, Excel and Outlook
Physical Demands
- Must have finger dexterity to be able to operate office equipment such as computers, printers, 10-key adding machine or calculator, electric typewriter, multi-line touch tone phone, filing cabinets, fax machines, photocopiers, dolly and other office equipment as needed
- Most work tasks are performed indoors, temperature is moderate and controlled by hotel environmental systems
