Provide technical contributions, services, and project management in developing client relationships, needs, and solutions within the food industry for manufacturers, vendors, and service providers.

  • Outreach and delivery of services to the food industry around Ohio and beyond.
  • Develop CIFT projects and invite new membership.
  • Manage projects by assessing, reporting deliverables, and ensure completion in timely manner.
  • Develop and contribute to client paid projects (“fee for service”).
  • Coordinate with others to develop and market CIFT programs and member services for food and agriculture companies/organizations.
  • Design and develop seminars and workshops based on the needs and interest of CIFT members and the industry in general.
  • Identify potential resources that will contribute to project development and expand CIFT’s service offerings.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree is required with a focus on Food Science, Food Engineering or Food Business.
  • Experience in delivery of services to food processors and manufacturers preferable in Ohio and then broader.
  • Able to follow up on projects, ability to meet company objectives and meet multiple deadlines.
  • Proven written and verbal communication skills.
  • Accurate, organized, willing to follow recommended procedures.
  • Able to drive and/or travel to attend seminars or meetings in and outside of Ohio with some overnights required.
