Summary
The Project Manager position is an integral member of the Product Management team at Tronair. The Project Manager coordinates with several internal business units to ensure product development projects are achieved. The Project Manager is responsible for designing the project goals and success criteria, as well as determining how success will be measured and tracked. They are responsible for the direction, coordination, implementation, executive, control, and completion of product development projects. They ensure the project remains on time and on budget, and prepare and present progress reports to ensure the project is furthering organizational goals.

Responsibilities and Requirements:
  • Plan and implement projects for product development
  • Help define project scope, goals, and deliverables
  • Define tasks and required resources
  • Collect and manage project team
  • Manage budget
  • Allocate project resources
  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
  • Create schedule and project timeline
  • Track deliverables and measure project performance
  • Support and direct project team
  • Lead quality assurance
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Monitor and report on project progress
  • Implement and manage change when necessary to meet project outputs
  • Evaluate, assess, and communicate result of project and lessons learned
  • Use and continually develop leadership skills
  • Attend conferences and training as required to maintain proficiency
  • Willingness to attain PMP Certification
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
Education and/or Experience
  • BA/BS in Business Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or closely related field
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus but not required
  • 2-5 years managing manufacturing or engineering projects
  • An equivalent amount of education, training and experience may be substituted for these requirements at the discretion of the company

Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this position, the employee must be able to:
  • Routinely sit, sometimes for extended periods, and work on a computer;

  • Stand, walk, stoop, kneel, and/ or bend as required.
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds, greater than 20 pounds with assistance or use of a cart
  • Travel by car or plane as business needs require it.
