Position summary:

Project Manager (Job Opening 456292) – This position is at the Ohio Colleges of Medicine Government Resource Center (GRC). The Project Manager will lead and manage various GRC projects. Duties may include: guides the project team to identify partnership opportunities between colleges and universities and project sponsors; reviews project invoices to ensure appropriate expenditures of project funds; may represent the project team at events and delivers presentations; leads the planning and facilitation of statewide meetings, conferences, and webinars among Ohio’s Colleges of Medicine; documents meeting minutes and objectives and disseminates to internal and external stakeholders; monitors and coordinates project reporting; drafts project team reports to communicate results and recommendations to project sponsors and other appropriate constituencies; prepares the draft of comprehensive and complex reports to communicate results and recommendations to project sponsors and other appropriate constituencies; develops and prepares reports from results of program evaluations for use in estimating budgeting plans; writes manuscripts, articles, and reports for publication and dissemination of effectiveness of programs in journals, books and other sources; manages and oversees GRC collaboration sites and public websites as needed; assists in working with state agency partners to design project activities; negotiates and establishes program goals and objectives; in collaboration with colleges, universities and project sponsors, integrates the project sponsor’s goals with appropriate faculty and staff project expertise; conducts project-related research; conducts literature searches and prepares literature reviews; assists in composing institutional review board (IRB) applications; assists in the preparation of data use agreements and business associates agreements; assists in writing and preparing grant proposals to obtain funding for projects; other duties as assigned.

Education and experience:

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required. Master’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred. Experience in leading projects/project management, program planning and administration is required. Strong communication skills and experience using Microsoft Office software is desired. Requires successful completion of a background check. Candidate may be requested to complete a pre-employment physical, including a drug screen.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $47,500.00 to $71,250.00 /year
