Preschool Teacher/Director

Mary, Mother of God Preschool is looking for a head teacher/director who can enhance the learning environment for our students. The ideal candidate for this position enjoys working with children, has a degree in early childhood education or related field and has previous experience working with children. Responsibilities:

• Work as part of the teaching team to encourage a positive learning environment for all children
• Respect and observe children’s interests. Intervene when needed to maintain safety. Enhance children’s play with language, toys, and activities
• Encourage and model social behavior and expectations which are developmentally appropriate

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 2+ years of Early Childhood Education (Preferred)
• Early Childhood Education License (Preferred)
