The investment team is seeking highly motivated individuals to help build intelligence within the areas of companyâs interests. The individual must be relentlessly curious, as well as passionate about the championing change. As a Vice President, we look to you to work with other members of the investment team to identify, connect with, and invest in the most exciting potential companies. You will be responsible from all aspects of the investment process, including but not limited to sourcing deals, initial screening, due diligence as well as post investment management. This position reports to the investment director.
Responsibilities
- Lead in-depth market research, including market data and comparable analysis as well as investment opportunities.
- Work with investment team to design the due diligence plan, lead the due diligence process, write investment memos, and guide opportunities end-to-end.
- Lead negotiations with target companies and educate them about our investment process
- Prepare investment memorandums and all necessary documents for the investment committee for an investment decision.
- Proactively network to identify new opportunities as well as build network of trusted, top tier co-investors
- Synthesize these learnings and strategize with the team on how to further advance our relationships with the best-fit companies
- Partner with legal counsel to review fund and deal terms, negotiate and execute investment transactions
- Supervise junior analyst, interns by training them in investment analysis and internal processes
- Work on special projects (business development, investor relations, etc.) as needed basis
Qualifications:
- Masterâs degree in Finance, Economics or other related fields. MBA from top tier schools is preferred
- 3-5 years of experience VC, PE, investment banking or financial consulting organization. Experience in a VC or in a corporate venture setting is preferred
- A demonstrable set of relevant institutional investor relationships and an active member of the local entrepreneur network.
- Dedicated work ethic and commitment to team and a goal-oriented environment.
- Strong project management, communication and presentation skills.
- Willingness to occasionally travel and long hours as demanded
- Fluent bilingual (English-Chinese) speakers are preferred

Salary: $47.00 to $58.00 /hour
