Job Title: Interim Clinical Director of Med Surg
Location: Lake Charles, LA
Tenure: 13 weeks contract
Shift: 7:15 am to 4:30 pm

Job Summary:

  • 5 years’ management and nursing supervisory exp at director level;
  • Assists with selection, training, orientation, and assigning department staff.
  • Develops standards of performance, and conducts performance management planning.
  • Initiates or makes recommendations for personnel actions.
  • Maintains open and ongoing communication with subordinates to review programs, provide feedback, and discuss new developments and exchange information assists in design, measurement, monitoring/implementation of programs to improve patient care as measured by improved clinical outcomes, improved efficiency of resource use and improved patient, employee/physician satisfaction;
  • Have a solid understanding for culture & current practices, build traction with physicians, and formal and informal leaders within hospital;

Requirements:

  • BSN
  • RN License in LA or Compact
  • 5 + years’ experience in MS unit.
