HHA Training School Director

We are a brand new private vocational school, offering quality training via multiple courses (PCA, HHA, PCA upgrade to HHA, CNA transition to HHA) and class shifts for our students to meet their availability and schedule needs. Our qualified instructors will help you master a new profession and be competitive at health care job market. All our students are offered to complete practicum hours at one of the local assisted living facilities in order to enhance the skills learnt in class. Our programs are distinguished by specialty training options that will assist you to learn how to care for patients with different chronic conditions and operate medical equipment commonly used in home care setting.

Job Description:

HHA Training School Director works under supervision of the School Administrator to manage and oversee all aspects of the School’s operations. Administrative, managerial, financial and/or clinical background preferred.

HHA Training School Director Responsibilities:

• Facilitate and improve school curricula;

• Develop customized programs for students;

• Promote and market school programs in the community;

• Coordinate school program-related events;

• Apply for grant and program funding proposals as needed;

• Oversee performance of the School’s staff with all applicable compliance procedures;

• Maintain regular communication with the NYS DOE BPSS;

• Document all program policies, procedures, practices, and prepare mandatory annual reports for the NYS DOE BPSS to ensure quality control and smooth operations;

• Participate in resolution of all issues related to student discipline, conflicts, complaints, etc.

• Monitor and evaluate course program budgets;

• Perform additional duties designated by the School Administrator to achieve success of school course programs.

HHA Training School Director Qualifications:

• Ability to develop and implement programs related to HHA Training School;

• Proven experience in managing school business and developing curricula;

• Excellent marketing, outreach and business development capacity;

• Strong facilitation and group leadership skills;

• Experience working with business, elected and government officials and/or community groups;

• The ability to conceive, develop, and complete tasks without close supervision;

• Good organizational and interpersonal skills;

• Strong presentation, oral and written communication skills;

• Strong supervisory and budget development and monitoring skills;

• The ability to manage multiple tasks;

• Computer competency and proficiency in Windows/Microsoft Office environment;

• Willingness and flexibility to engage in weekend and evening classes.
