We are seeking a field project manager to oversee installation projects for company. Installation projects include installation of commercial ventilation systems for cooking media, fire extinguishing systems and fire sprinkler systems.

Project Manager Duties include:

  • Permit application submission – follow through for permit
  • Project Hazard Analysis for safety
  • Ordering necessary equipment
  • Oversee of fabrication
  • Oversee of installation
  • Oversee of safety policies and application of project
  • Mechanical and Fire Code compliance
  • Meeting financial objectives for project
  • Customer interaction
  • Schedules kick off meeting with customer, reviews project and establishes himself / herself as the point person for the project
  • Authority having Jurisdiction interaction
  • Company employee interaction
  • Discusses daily operations / progress reports with the Department Head
  • Project completion – on time performance
  • Recommendations to improve company projects
  • Interaction with other trades for completion and acceptance of project
  • Complies with and enforces company safety policies / guidelines and company handbook policies
  • Personnel accountability
  • Understands scope of work and will get project extra’s as required
  • Field staff supervision

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of documented project management
  • Leadership Qualifications
  • Certified Project Management Designation a plus
  • Excellent communicator
  • Mentor
  • Ability to read drawings and project documents and submittals
  • Documented knowledge of Fire Codes and Mechanical Codes
  • OSHA 10
  • OSHA 30 a plus
  • Computer Skills required for communication / reporting / documentation
  • Visionary
  • Tracking budget expenses
  • Documented corrective action plans for projects

Requirements:

  • Valid drives license and license report
  • Drug Free work environment
  • Ability to multi task
  • Ability to lift 75 – lbs.
  • Climb ladders
  • Work in outdoor weather environments
  • Documented work history with references
  • Understanding and implementation of safety requirements
  • Understanding and implementation of fire and mechanical codes
