Director of Quality must have comprehensive Automotive Metalworking experience and expertise. Must relocate to very desirable Atlanta location, with our relocation assistance.

  • Read and interpret Automotive CAD data, complex prints, and specifications
  • 5+ years of Quality Management Experience in complex multi-plant Automotive Stamping, Welding, and Assembly Manufacturing
  • Four Year Engineering or Industrial Technology Degree from Accredited University
  • Black Belt Certified preferred
  • Proficient in maintaining ISO 9001/ IATF 16949 Quality Certifications
  • Proficient in spearheading timely 8-D/9-D/CAR Reporting Systems to Continuously Improve
  • Proficient at leading Quality Inspection, Quality Assurance, Quality Engineering, SQA as a dynamic “hands-on” practitioner and collaborator with Product Design, Manufacturing, Maintenance, and Supply Chain functions
  • Proficient in creating and interpreting CMM data using PC DMIS/Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence
  • Proficient in facilitating Automotive APQP’s and PPAP’s with Manufacturing and Supply Chain functions
  • Bilingual Spanish, Vietnam, and English, is very desirable
  • Monitor operations to ensure that they meet Automotive Customer Quality standards
  • Recommend adjustments to the assembly or production process
  • Inspect, test, or measure materials or products being produced
  • Measure products with rulers, calipers, gauges, micrometers, and CMM
  • Accept or reject finished items and make corrective actions, if necessary
  • Remove all products and materials that fail to meet specifications
  • Discuss inspection results with those responsible for products
  • Perform timely DOE, thorough inspection, and analyze test data to arrive at root causes of problems and determining corrective actions

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $85,000.00 to $95,000.00 /year
