Director of Planning & Procurement

Keplr Vision is in search of a process focused, data-driven Director of Planning and Procurement. You will help our inventory and procurement teams to insure effective management of all supply chain functions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement and monitor all key functions related to inventory transactions to ensure that they are accurate and timely from and to all external and/or internal operations
  • Work with accounting to perform thorough research and document inventory discrepancies to identify root causes and supply possible solutions to increase accuracy and efficiency
  • Lead all inventory audits on site with external and internal auditors
  • Work closely with and provide guidance to the Inventory Specialist team in regards to data collection, data analytics and report development
  • Develop and supply strategic reporting to the Operations management team including quarterly summaries, monthly trends, week over week analysis and daily reporting
  • Develop trend reporting on top offenders in all functions of the warehouse for inventory inaccuracies
  • Innovate and maintain cycle count programs in a perpetual inventory environment
  • Develop and drive departmental and organizational goals through data analysis with the ability to speak to multiple levels of the business
  • Take a high level of ownership in regards to training and team development based around inventory and inventory analysis
  • Create and monitor team KPIs to ensure appropriate levels
  • Forecast a large, scaling inventory for future needs and costs
  • Monitor internal and external warehouse movement for accuracy and cost effectiveness

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics or Data Analytics
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in an inventory control role with management
  • High level knowledge working in Excel, prefer experience with macros or VBA
  • Experience in Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% for site support
  • Excellent organization, communication, presentation, computer, and written skills
