Job Summary
Working as a Food Service Director you will be responsible for managing the operations, responsible for developing and executing strategy to meet operating and financial goals. Leading the account by ensuring areas of responsibility meet objectives and client expectations. We seek a charasmatic team player with a perfect blend of culinary and administrative expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in all phases of planning, budget analysis, and reporting relating to the operation, control account expenditures and obtain maximum utilization of account resources
Responsibility for ensuring proper presentation, portion control, and maintenance of proper serving temperatures and HACCP standards
The individual will maintain the highest standards of food quality, presentation, sanitation and safety
Provide overall planning, direction and control of the dining program to achieve operating and financial goals
Develop and maintain outstanding client relations
Oversees performance of unit management including budget development, sales and profitability
Responsible for the professional development of the entire team
Implements new culinary programs in conjunction with the CulinArt marketing and culinary teams
Acts as a liaison between CulinArt, the client, and the community
Preferred Qualifications:
3+ years of experience as a Food Service Director within a corporate or educational location preferred
Culinary and/or Hospitality Management degree preferred but not required
High end catering experience a must
Culinary expeirence a must
Must possess strong leadership, communication and organizational skills
Possess knowledge of current food trends
Proficient in MS Office
