Azura Memory Care is expanding its exceptional care to the Fox Point, Wisconsin community and is now accepting applications for the Director of Community Relations (Sales) role! Azura Memory Care of Fox Point will be opening in Fall 2020 and will have the ability to care for 88 individuals in its 4 households.
The Director of Community Relations is responsible for representing Azura Memory Care in the community through networking, marketing, presentations and committees. The Director of Community Relations will identify new business opportunities through new markets, new partnerships with other businesses, new ways to reach existing markets, or new product or service offerings to better meet the needs of existing markets and utilize those opportunities to bring in more revenue. The Director of Community Relations actively participates in Azura Memory Care planning.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Occupancy

Build and maintain occupancy of the residence in collaboration with the Executive Director

Build and maintain qualified wait list

Maintain standards and complying with state regulations and licensing

Produce reports as requested

Understand state regulations and compliance issues

Attend leadership meetings and other Azura Memory Care trainings
Marketing
- Lead in promoting person-centered care through MOSAIC by Azura program

Maintain the image of the residence
-
Promote residence in the community through an active referral network
-
Plan and conduct events to showcase the residence and its programs

Provide tours and information as needed

Train staff on phone etiquette, conducting tours, taking inquiries, customer service best practices and general public relations and communications

Represent the residence within the elderly services network when requested

Attend meetings of organizations and conferences to promote continuity of services to the elderly as requested.

Provide tours and follow up communication with families to discuss unique features of Azura Memory Care including the person centered care through the MOSAIC program, showing why Azura is the right choice for their loved one.

Maintain inquiry and referral database system on a consistent basis
Family Support

Participate in regularly scheduled parties and events for families and residents

Work with the family in maintaining a strong relationship with their relative residing in the home

Assist family members in understanding the frailties of age, Alzheimer?s disease, and related dementias when appropriate
All other duties as may be assigned
Education:
- A bachelor or associate degree preferred or a minimum of 3 years of related work experience in assisted living or long-term care.
Experience:
- Three yearsâ experience in health care marketing
- Demonstrated understanding of older adults and the issues, diseases and needs related to aging
