Clinical Director
Kirstin Care is seeking a Clinical Director in order to oversee all aspects of daily operations such as planning, growth, and program development for the Outpatient Mental Health Clinic (OMHC), Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program services (PRP), Supported Employment services (SE), Intensive Outpatient services (IOP), Health Home (HH), DUI/DWI Education classes, and Level 1 Outpatient Substance Abuse treatment. This includes promoting the physical and emotional well-being of the participants and staff.
The Clinical Director works full-time 40 hours weekly) in conjunction with the number of program participants. The Clinical Director must have networking abilities and have experience in program expansion (some marketing experience will be great). They must be able to work a flexible schedule, be able to travel and visit locations within the Maryland area. They must be able to manage time effectively, plan effectively, and bring strategic plans to conclusion. Finally they must be able to manage multiple priorities, produce effective clinical outcomes, demonstrate knowledge of clinical and rehabilitative interventions as well as knowledge of referral sources available for the consumers.
Responsibilities:
· Provides supervision and consultation to therapists/social workers, PRP consultants, and administration.
· Responsible for taking on caseload of clients if other therapists are unavailable
· Accountable for fiscal responsibility of the clinic in terms of staff productivity, growth of the program, and all billability of services.
· Responsible for development, implementation, supervision, effectiveness and efficiency of all service delivery in the office.
· Responsible for administrative oversight of effective medication tracking and monitoring systems.
· Accountable for ensuring state regulatory (COMAR) compliance, CARF compliance, policy implementation and compliance in client records, personnel records and staff credentialing, privileging and training, monitoring and coordination of staff training and personnel documents.
· Responsible for ensuring adequate outreach, risk management and client satisfaction with services.
· Ensures effective and timely problem solving, crisis intervention and resolution.
· Assists CEO with implementation of strategic plans.
· Responsible for coordination and oversight of administrative tasks that enhance regional effectiveness and efficiency which, in turn, allows regional growth to occur more rapidly.
Minimum Experience:
· 2 year successful management experience (including formal supervision of staff and fiscal and growth responsibilities),
· 5 years of experience working with persons with mental illness and veterans
