Core responsibilities:

  • Assist in organizing the CEO’s day-to-day to maximize the use of time
  • Act as a point of contact between board of directors, executives, employees, clients, and partners
  • Provide gatekeeper functions, schedule meetings, and set appointments
  • Aggressively protect the CEOs strategic thinking and self inflection time
  • Manage travel itineraries and complete monthly expense reports
  • Remind the CEO of upcoming events, pending deadlines, and due dates
  • Help ensure CEO’s punctuality but also assist in reprioritizing schedule when necessary
  • Attend meetings alongside the CEO and when necessary act as a stand-in for the CEO
  • Accurately record minutes and action items from each meeting
  • Screen and prioritize emails, phone calls, and slack communication
  • Conduct research analysis and present findings and recommendations
  • Proof CEO communication such as memos, emails, presentations, and reports
  • Uphold the strictest level of confidentiality

Accountable for:

  • Day to day operations of the Chief Executive Officer

Required qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in an executive assistant role with increasing levels of responsibility
  • A track record of exemplary tenure over the course of his/her career
  • Effective and professional communication skills both written and verbal
  • Experience exercising discretion and confidentiality with sensitive company information
  • Bachelors degree from a top university

Desired qualifications:

  • Prior experience acting as an EA to the CEO
  • Experience in high-tech, start-up environments
  • Experience working in venture-funded companies
