Looking for a business manage who has experience with medical billing. She/he will also be responsible for administrative work. The billing work involves entering patient data into an electronic health records system, checking eligibility, creating superbills, electronic bill submission using practice management system, posting payments, reviewing EOBs, appealing unpaid claims. Additionally the candidate must manage the administrative duties for our practice location in Bedminster NJ and North Brunswick, NJ. The Bedminster office is open half day on Fridays. The North Brunswick office is open once a month for half a day on Saturday. The administrative responsibilities include: Review patient intake forms for accuracy and enter patient information into Electronic Health Record (EHR). Process patients fees, copays, visit charges, and product/service sales. Answer phone calls, schedule patient visits, and create follow-ups for office staff. The candidate must have:
- Candidate must be very personable with STRONG verbal communication skills.
- Previous MEDICAL billing experience using an electronic billing system is REQUIRED. Experience with Kareo is preferred but not required.
- She/he must have experience working with different electronic systems for records management, eligibility checks, prior authorization, and claims management. Systems include Practice Fusion, Kareo, Navinet, etc.
- Experience negotiating claims with payers. Experience negotiating out-of-network claims is a plus. Strong negotiations skills required.
- Highly organized, detail oriented, and must be a self starter.
- Experience in a surgery office would be preferred but not required.
- She/he must be reliable and must be able to drive to both locations
- She/he must have a sense of urgency to get work completed on time.
