Assistant Project Manager – Data Center Division
Los Lunas, New Mexico

This is primarily an onsite position for the Assistant Project Manager. The APM will work closely with the Project Mangers, Controls Manager, Safety, Superintendents, and the General Foreman in the process of performing his/her duties.
Position Summary: Provide direction and support to Project Engineers and Project Coordinators.
Essential Job Functions:
- Provide in-house support to project managers for change orders, expediting logs, RFI logs, etc. when personnel are available.
- Ongoing training and development. Maintain a record of experience, training and project performance for each project engineer and project coordinator.
- Update Director monthly on progress and potential to move into project management and estimating.
- Coordinate duties of project engineers and project coordinators with project managers and jobsite general foreman/foreman.
- Ensure project engineers and project coordinators have a clear definition of their assigned duties and the necessary tools and information to do the job.
- Assess current work practices for process improvement opportunities.
Minimum Job Requirements:
- BS in Construction Management or Engineering a plus, relevant experience may substitute
- A minimum of 5+ years of related experience, including some time managing smaller projects
- Large Electrical / Data Center build experience highly desired
- Prior experience working on semi-remote jobsites, supervising others
- Good working knowledge of MS applications including Excel.
- Accubid experience preferred
- Scheduling ability with Microsoft Projects and/or Primavera P6 experience preferred
- Knowledge of Electrical Code
- Satisfactory driving record
