The Assistant Director of Audio Visual will assist in managing all aspects of Audio Visual for various in-house AV properties. 3 years minimum AV experience required, preferably in a Hospitality environment. Great customer service skills required. Consult with existing clients and provide audio visual solutions. Setup, support, operate and remove Audio Visual and related presentation equipment. Must be a self-starter requiring little or no supervision with the ability to exercise good judgment and make sound decisions.

  • Willingness and ability to work many evenings, weekends and occasional overnight setups

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing all aspects of the ordering and delivery of Audio Visual for various in-house AV properties.
  • Complete and distribute all forms necessary to preparation for individual shows.
  • Keep accurate records of all dealings with clients.
  • Assist in assuring necessary resources are available at all events.
  • Participate in event planning, setup, support, operation and removal.
  • Assist with AV inventory control, maintenance, sub rentals, etc.
  • Other duties upon request.

Required Skills:

  • Ability to setup and operate any required Audio Visual equipment.
  • Customer Service and Sales experience.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to pay close attention to details and follow up on them.
  • Computer experience and good working knowledge of Microsoft Office software, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook. Intellievent Rental software experience a plus.
  • Ability to effectively manage projects, and people.
  • Ability to operate office equipment.
  • CAD/AutoSketch software experience is a plus, for creating room layouts for events with AV.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $38,000.00 to $50,000.00 /year
