Job Summary:
The Accountable Care Organization (ACO) Project Manager provides project management leadership and coordination of ACO-oriented projects. Responsible for gathering and validating requirements, coordinating project tasks, regular communication to project stakeholders, identifying appropriate resources needed, and developing schedules to ensure timely completion of project. The position supports but is not limited to, complex development and implementation of significant initiatives within the organization in support of Senior Management.
The Project Manager also provides expertise in project planning, execution, and monitoring. Oversees and manages the operational aspects of assigned projects and maintains a project management framework that enables a project core team to successfully execute projects. Maintains and analyzes project schedules and prepares regular status reports for management and key stakeholders. Tracks project risks, opportunities and issues in order to develop resolutions to meet quality and timeline goals and objectives.
Job Requirements
Regulatory Requirements:
- Bachelorâs Degree in Business or related Health Care degree, MBA, or Masters in Public Health.
- Five years of Project Management experience working within the Healthcare Insurance industry preferred.
- Experience in ACO Operations or ACO Project Management preferred.
- Knowledge of computer systems and experience using Project Management platforms, Excel, and demonstrated proficiency in a variety of computer applications.
- Proven excellence in communication and relationship management.

- Ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.

- Ability to convey goals and objectives clearly and in a compelling manner; listen effectively and clarify as needed; confirm all verbal messaging via written document; produce clear status reports; communicate tactfully and candidly.

- Experience in managing and reporting on multiple projects.
- Must understand data specifications and requirements for reporting needs.
- Experience in working with data, understand data structures/relationships, data field types, causes for data integrity and reporting issues.
- Healthcare experience preferred.
- Masterâs degree preferred.
