As an intern, you will be stretched to build on your existing knowledge, challenged to maximize your learning agility, and positioned to make a meaningful and lasting impact on your team. You will connect with senior leaders through your day-to-day work and leverage your entrepreneurial spirit and education as you contribute to the success of Starbucks, while building valuable professional relationships. Starbucks internships are paid, 10-week assignments (6/8/2020 â 8/14/2020; or 6/15/2020 â 8/21/2020) at the Starbucks Support Center in Seattle – our corporate headquarters.
During the Starbucks Summer Internship Program, you will:

Foster connection: grow your network as you meet and learn from Starbucks partners leaders.
Internship Support includes:

Relocation & Housing: If eligible, Starbucks will provide housing during your internship program. In addition, travel to and from Seattle, reasonable baggage fees where required, and ground transportation to and from the airport on your dates of travel will also be covered. -
Payment: All Starbucks interns will be paid an intern hourly rate, not to exceed 40hrs/week.
About Customer & Retail Technology:

Knowledge of software development lifecycle and Agile methodology
-
Interested in partnering with product owners and scrum masters across multiple domains to develop detailed, cross-functional timelines
-
Ability to own a detailed budget with guidance from senior program management team
-
Ability to take meticulous meeting minutes and own the corresponding communication plan
-
Ability to own a RAID log (risks, action items and decisions) and strive for positive, actionable outcomes
-
A keen interest in learning how complex technical domains come together to build customer-facing technology
-
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to thrive in ambiguity
Requirements:

Must actively enrolled in an accredited undergraduate program
-
Preference for: Computer and Information Sciences, Business Management or related major

Expected graduation date between December 2020 and August 2021

Must have a minimum cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.0

Must be able to relocate and work full-time for the duration of the internship program
-
