Description
- Leads MCEN day-to-day transition activities on behalf of the PM.
- Provides status reports to all identified stakeholders
- Site Lead reports to the Transition Manager for purposes of scheduling, coordination and Enterprise Risk Management.
- Coordinates transition activities between GDIT, the Marine Corps, the incumbent contractor, other enterprise service providers, users, and stakeholders
- Conducts daily DSRs, and the Readiness to Transition Review and AFOR
- Reports to the Transition Executive.
Education
- Bachelorâs Degree in a related business or technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience
- ITIL Foundation certification required
Qualifications
Required:
- 10-12 years of related operations management experience, including at least one successful contract transition or related military leadership experience
- Minimum of 10 years of experience managing large, complex, enterprise system migration projects (greater than 20,000 users).
- Must have excellent communication skills (oral and writing). Will interact with the govât customer and senior government leadership leaders at the highest levels, prefer those who have experience and skills working with this specific customer
- Security Clearance: Shall hold or be eligible for an active SECRET DoD Clearance
Desired:
- Professional certifications: PMP and ITIL preferred
- Demonstrated management and leadership skills
- Demonstrated administrative and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and knowledge of industry standard PMO methodologies. Proficiency in using project management tools (e.g. Microsoft Project) and techniques
- Experience providing technical, administrative, and operational management of the transition and transition team, including contract management and subcontractor SOW development and onboarding
