Responsibilities
- Manage operational and tactical aspects of multiple or large scale automation projects up to $10M+ in combined volume to provide a quality machine, on time and under budget.
- Review project deliverables based on User Requirements and schedules/priorities.
- Prepare & present progress reports, schedule updates, project reviews and performance reports to Management and Customers.
- Develop risk mitigation plans.
- Proactively identify & manage changes in project scope, identify potential problems, and devise contingency plans.
- Estimate revenue recognition by quarter, ensure timely invoicing, and monitor receivables for all projects.
- Integrate financial data for multiple projects through the Estimated Cost to Finish process on a weekly basis.
- Forecast and analyze profitability, revenue, margins, and utilization of resources across projects.
- Compare financial goals for the division to those of the projects; seek ways to maximize revenue, profit and cash flow.
- Develop the Risk Assessment Plan requirement of ISO 13485 via procedures within our Business Quality Management System.
Qualifications
Education/Experience:
B.S. in Engineering/Manufacturing/Management or equivalent experience (10-15 years in automation project management).
Skills:
- Must be a success-oriented individual who overcomes obstacles both internally and externally.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Broad knowledge of automatic assembly equipment (mechanical and controls)
- Detail oriented.
