GDIT is seeking a Capture Sr. Director for the Defense Division to join our outstanding Capture growth team! In this player/coach role, you will be responsible for executing captures and leading a team of capture managers driving the GDIT business growth in concert with our business development executives and business area operations leads. You will be building, leading, and mentoring a capture organization responsible for significant business growth within your Sector. You will also lead capture for significant enterprise opportunities requiring your direct experience and knowledge.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Support the communication and implementation of a One GDIT culture of collaboration, accountability, and transparency in all business dealings. Honor and reflect our values of Integrity, Honesty, Respect, and Commitment in dealing with all persons.
- As a resource manager, lead, mentor, and coach subordinate capture managers in the development and execution of effective win strategies; perform all requisite administrative responsibilities as a resource manager.

In the role of Capture Manager:
- Work in conjunction with Business Development to for develop and execute capture strategies to secure new and/or re-compete contracts
- Responsible for development of the entire win strategy to include win theme development, solutions development, competitive assessments, shaping strategy, teaming strategy, Price-to-Win, pricing strategy, and bid/no-bid recommendations to senior management (based on a price to win and other competitive assessments).
- Managing the effective execution of capture pursuits, following the business development process and gate controls, tracking performance to cost and schedule, and communicating ongoing capture status to leadership
- Develop and maintain high quality relationships with internal and external customers and partners.
- Shape opportunities and our position throughout the opportunity life-cycle to increase probability of win through every phase of the growth lifecycle.
- Establish value added teaming strategies and competitive pricing structures to create a profitable return at a winning cost
- Develop marketing strategies and providing input into market account plans with assigned account BD and P&L leaders that align with the company’s strategic plan
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 15+ years of experience in Capture/Business Development and a recent track record of successfully leading large complex/strategic opportunities over $300M
- Strong background building and leading capture teams
- Capture experience focused on IT Services, Lifecycle SW development, Cloud and Cyber solutions, and defense mission focused program support offerings
- Experience with corporate investment and procurement processes
- Ability to think strategically, solve problems, and lead cross-functional teams through collaboration
- US Citizenship
Desired Qualifications:
- Active Secret Clearance or higher
- DoD capture experience
