Required Skills and Qualifications
  • SCRUM Master Certification
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as a SCRUM Master
  • Experience working with dynamic, highly collaborative teams, requiring close consultation and coordination
  • Experience using leading Scrum/Agile tools
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Business, or related area
  • Three (3) years of experience in a health care system

Summary
Scrum Master, Web Development fills a key role enabling the development teams to deliver quality product.This position will collaborate with the product owner and the core team to identify, groom and prioritize user stories to be included in the sprints.Establish an understanding of the product backlog to align scrum team’s activities with project managers for IT projects with interdependencies. Negotiate to obtain consensus and approval on required changes. Identify and resolve impediments to the team’s execution of development activities.Demonstrate strategic and forward thinking by conduction thorough analysis of downstream and upstream impact of program level issues and proposed solutions.Provide full and transparent visibility to scrum team for stakeholders, especially the product owner of potential issues being addressed. Identify and implement changes to processes / practices to increase effectiveness and application of Scrum in the organization. Mentor team in agile practices and operations in order to maximize user effectiveness and utilization of resources.
Sharp’s Web Development team is responsible for the development and technical infrastructure behind Sharp’s major web sites, including http://www.sharp.com, SharpNET, and scmg.org. Web Development works in conjunction with Digital Marketing to bring the Sharp Experience to our patients, visitors and employees by using the latest in Web technologies and state-of-the-art software and database design. The Web Development team is also responsible for custom web applications, Sharp’s search engines, and the Sharp Account, Sharp’s integrated identity solution used to provide a unified digital patient experience.
Sharp System Services have campuses located in the communities of Kearny Mesa and Serra Mesa and consist of the Spectrum location, the Ruffin Road location and Sharp Operations Center (SOC). These offices provide the centralized integrated system support services to the operating entities within the system.
