Project Manager role responsible for driving the execution of several high profile projects including developing the strategy and plan for designing and rolling out operational productivity metrics across the unit; coordination and follow through of projects intended to eliminate obstacles impacting client experience; end to end coordination and execution of Client Onboarding and Risk and Control projects. This role will report into the Group Head responsible for Client Onboarding for NAM, Risk and Control for ISG and Global Documentation Operations Unit.
The ideal candidate should be a seasoned professional with strong project management experience, who is resourceful and will take the initiative. This role will be responsible for the end to end coordination across parties as well as personally taking action against certain deliverables and providing holistic status reporting and project planning.
Example Projects:
1. Onboarding Remediation and Reconciliation Projects: Performing analysis to ensure accounts are aligned with the appropriate Legal agreement and Credit approvals; Accounts remediation at the relationship level to ensure due diligence is done on legacy accounts
2. Cross Border Clearance Remediation: Performing analysis of cross border clearance approvals with other variables such as internal intercompany service agreements and operational work performed by the unit for a particular legal entity.
Qualifications and Responsibilities:
- Works closely with Citi Onboarding and Risk and Control department management to deliver on assignments and projects. Some involve tight deadlines and others involve Senior Leadership presentations. Accuracy of information is key.
- Build deep understanding of applicable processes and policies
- Build and manage project plans including identifying stakeholders, project dependencies, risks and issues
- Ensure the successful completion of projects managed.
- 5-8 years of experience ideal in Project Management, Operations and Financial Services
- Demonstrate strong business knowledge including the understanding of core businesses, supporting processes and operations.
- Outstanding problem-solver, Should demonstrate a commitment to quality and attention to detail
- No direct reports. May provide guidance to less experienced team members
- Self-motivation
- Works well under pressure and independently
- Strong reporting Background and familiarity with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
